b07 bot lobbies: Stats, Roles and Loadouts
Start with the weapon that best suits your fighting style if you want to get a quick start in Black Ops 7. This breakdown goes beyond the raw numbers and answers practical questions, such as who is best at mid-range, what AR can replace a SMG close up, which AR rewards headshots and which one is most forgiving. Your route is determined by how you use the stats. First, a structured outline. Next, builds and field execution.
Hybrid hitcan behavior: Why velocity isn’t all that bo7 accounts matters
Engine Note: BO7 is a hybrid engine. Bullets are hit-scannable within certain ranges; above that, projectiles rules are applied.
What does this mean?
In those bands that measure hitscan, adding velocity will not change the feel of the band; it will only help extend its edge.
The ADS and the recoil control are responsible for your shot delay at close/mid range, not the bullet speed.
Practical Setup:
– ARs in the middle/close range (AK-27 and Peacekeeper): Prioritize ADS over recoil.
– ARs with a mid/long length (M15, MXR7) : Add some velocity to only push the hitscan border outward.
Attachment Blueprints & Playstyle Templates
Please note that names vary depending on the build list. Follow the logic and then match your parts. Begin with the map direction and then fine-tune it on your map pool.
M15 (mid-range control / all-round)
– Direction : Tame recoil and extend effective range. Keep ADS reasonable.
– Suggested:
– Muzzle : mid compensator horizontal + mild vertical
– Barrel: mid-long (range/velocity)
– Underbarrel/Grip : Vertical control or stability
– Optic : 1.5x-2x clear glass
Stock/Rear : ADS/stability mixture is slight
– Technique: use short, sustained bursts. If you are beyond 25 meters, use bursts of 5-7 rounds over full sprays.
Who: The default main character for the majority of players.
AK-27 (close/mid lane Bully)
– Direction : Suppress the first-shot jump, and pull to the right; do not overtax ADS.
– Suggested:
– Muzzle : hybrid compensator
– Underbarrel: first-shot stability/initial recoil
– Stock: Reduce hip-fire/movement penalties without killing ADS
Keep standard to avoid tax handling
– Technique: 3-round burst–reset–3-round burst to hold accuracy inside 4-shot zone.
– Who: SMG users who are space-hogs.
MXR7 (head-line specialist)
– Direction: ADS fast + accuracy of first shot; modest range.
– Suggested:
– Muzzle : Precision brake (first shot control)
– Optic : clean dot 1.0x to 1.5x
– Barrel : mid-lightweight (some range, but not sluggishness).
– Rear : ADS/flinch aid
– Technique: Chest-to-head drags for 1 head and 2 bodies; outside the first range, switch over to deliberate two-stage blasts.
Who: Confident aimers who follow headlines.
X9 Maverick – burst-cadence Pick
– Direction: tighten burst spread, speed up recentering, keep ADS tidy.
– Suggested:
– Muzzle : Burst Spread Tuner
– Barrel: short-mid for faster handling
– Underbarrel : Burst stability but not spray control
Low-magnification clarity
Technique: Pre-aim and take the shot in rhythm. If you drop a round, immediately break your line of vision and reengage.
– Whom: Players who thrive on the timing and information advantage.
DS20 Mirage Utility Opener
– Direction : play around the launcher of grenades.
– Suggested:
– Muzzle: balanced compensator
– Underbarrel : vertical + transitional stability
– Priority: plan nade timings–entry, denial, utility breaking
– Technique: Use launcher to gain space, then advance using rifle. Avoid extended duels of equal strength.
– Who: Team utility anchors, and objective players.
Peacekeeper Mk1
– Direction: stack readiness/mobility; tame initial kick.
– Suggested:
– Muzzle: light compensator (first-shot stability)
– Front/Stock: ADS + sprint to fire
– Barrel : short for range; accept some loss of mobility
– Laser : tightening of hip-fire (mode permitting)
Technique: Slide/strafe for close-up peeks. Over 20m, switch to short bursts.
Who: Fast rotators, re-engagers.
Turning Paper Strength into Real Win Rate
– Route, not rifle
– Choose M15/MXR7 if your fights are at a distance of 25 m or more; AK-27/Peacekeeper is better suited if you’re in chokepoints.
10 minute drill at 13 m
Record the first 10 shots dispersion. Layer in short-burst + strafe rhythm.
– Feel the hitcan boundary
– In a range, back off from close to far and note when you must start leading/compensating–lock that invisible line into your muscle memory.
Upgrade your KPIs
Track the accuracy of your first shot, your opening-duel winning rate and the TTK deviation for each engagement. Do not limit yourself to K/D. Consistency > Highs.
FAQ
Q: My aim is average. Should I use the MXR7 camera?
If you practice chest-to-head drags. Start with 1.0x to 1.5x optics, and a short burst cadence. Once 1 head + 2 bodies is automatic, extend the range.
– Q: Does X9 experience famine or feast?
– A: It’s cadence-gated. If you fail to complete a single burst, your exposure time is doubled. Solution: Pre-aim the corners, commit to a single burst and disengage if it’s imperfect.
Q: I feel wild when the Peacekeeper is at mid-range. Am I overreacting to this?
Its visual recoil is overstating the true climb. Use 5-7 round bursts. Prioritize first-shot stabilization parts. Let movement create windows rather than beaming long lanes.
Q: After 5-6 shots, my AK-27 sprays are wide. What’s the problem?
It will transition to horizontally-heavy recoil. Switch to 3-burst–pause–3-burst for tighter cones.
– Q: Does M15 have a high ceiling?
The ceiling is achieved by staying in the mid-range of 312ms TTK for longer than other players. It is not flashy but it converts most of the fights that are winnable in pubs or ranked.
Summary and Quick Picks
Need a gun which works everywhere: M15
– Corner-brawling or lane pressure – AK-27 (faster feel, more relaxed).
– MXR7 unlocks 240ms potential for 3-shots.
– Anchoring and punishing overexposure: Accepting the high failure costs.
– Win space with DS20, the team utility/entry-denial launcher.
